After the 6/20 club race, 5280 Raceway will be upgrading its transponder decoder to the RC4 version. This means that cloned transponders like those made by MRT will no longer work at our track.

All generations and models of the AMB/MyLaps transponders, including the latest RC4 will work at 5280, as will our house transponders.

After the 6/20 race, while our decoder swap is in progress, there will be no timing or scoring available at the track. We hope to have everything back up and running in time for the 6/27 club race, but that will be determined by how quickly the replacement arrives.

5280 Raceway has partnered up with MHOR R/C to present outdoor asphalt on-road racing. These events will be taking place on MHOR's outdoor track located in Aurora, CO. The race dates have been added to our calendar.

The entire CORRC club has been working for the last couple months to get the track, buildings, and pit areas ready! We are in the final stages of prep and the track opens to the racers on Thursday morning (April 11th) for the club race that night.

Massive thanks go out to everyone who's pitched in to make this race possible and additional thanks to everyone flying in to share in the fun!

The 5280 crew represented at the 2013 ROAR Carpet Nationals. 9 members of CORRC/5280 attended the race in Horsham, PA. From the picture above you can see there was a good deal of hardware brought home from the event.

Everyone made it back and now we are focused on the Mile High Indoor Championships coming up April 12 -14 at 5280 Raceway!

New Layout in prep for MHIC is up as of 3/23.

This week many members of CORRC and 5280 are heading east together to take on the best drivers in the US at the ROAR Nationals being held in Horsham, PA. The 9 drivers heading out have been getting ready for more than a month for this race and all are aiming to impress the east coast.

I will post an update with links to view the race when we know them. Mains for ROAR Nats are on Sunday the 17th.

Because of the majority of the club heading to Nats, it is safe to assume that there will be no regular race program on Thursday the 14th, or Sunday the 17th at 5280 Raceway. Check the forums to see if there will be open practice on either of those days.

5280 will be racing Sunday, however we're going to run a short schedule and try to get people home in time to watch the game. 2 quals and a main. Racing starts at 11:30AM as usual. See you there!
